The total number of trips made by the travelers in the country with one or more overnight stays decreased by 17% when compared to the same quarter of the previous year and was realized as 13 million 33 thousand trips.

80 million 132 thousand overnight travelers in this quarter made. The average number of overnight stays was 6.1 nights and the average expenditure per trip was 336 TL.
Travelers spent 4 billion 376 million 320 thousand TL
Domestic tourists' domestic travel expenses in 2015 II. quarter-on-year decrease of 6.7% compared to the same quarter of the previous year and amounted to 4 billion 376 million 320 thousand TL.
Travel expenses were made as personal or package tour expenditures. 91.6% (4 billion 9 million 16 thousand TL) of domestic tourism expenditure was personal and 8.4% (367 million 304 thousand TL) of package tour expenditures.
