In the 2013-2014 season, 701 artists were employed in the choirs of the General Directorate of Fine Arts, of which 38.1% were female artists. The highest proportion of female artists was vocal artists with 53.9%.
Dancers became the group with the highest proportion of female artists in the ensembles
In the 2013-2014 season, 384 artists are working in the communities affiliated to the General Directorate of Fine Arts, of which 27.1% are women artists. The highest proportion of female artists was dancers with 47.3%.
The number of shows performed by orchestras remained unchanged from last season
The number of performances performed by the orchestras did not change in the 2013-2014 season compared to the 2012-2013 season and became 212. The number of spectators in the same season decreased by 7.5% to 141 393. In the last four seasons, the number of shows performed by orchestras increased by 15.8%, while the number of spectators increased by 12.7%.

The number of spectators in the same season decreased by 30.4% to 69 250. In the last four seasons, the number of shows performed by the choirs has increased by 12% and the number of spectators has increased by 12%.
Communities' demonstrations decreased by 9.9% compared to last season
In 2013-2014 season, the number of shows performed by the communities decreased by 9.9% compared to the 2012-2013 season and became 183. The number of spectators in the same season decreased by 10.3% to 205 510. In the last four seasons, the number of shows performed by the communities increased by 7% and the number of spectators increased by 77.9%.
