Retail sales volume increased by 5.4% compared to the same month of the previous year

Calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 5.4% in December 2017 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 4.2%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 0.8% and automotive fuel sales increased by 18.2%.

Retail sales volume increased by 0.8% compared to the previous month

Seasonally and calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 0.8% in December 2017 compared to the previous month. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales decreased by 0.7%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) decreased by 1%, while automotive fuel sales increased by 5.4%.

Retail turnover increased by 18.2% compared to the same month of the previous year

Retail turnover at current prices adjusted for calendar effects increased by 18.2% in December 2017 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 15.8%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 13.2% and automotive fuel sales increased by 35.3%.

Retail turnover increased by 2% compared to the previous month

Retail turnover at current prices adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects increased by 2% in December 2017 compared to the previous month. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 0.5%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 1% and automotive fuel sales increased by 5.7%.

Calendar adjusted retail sales volume IV. increased by 4% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Seasonally and calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 1.3% quarter-on-quarter.

Retail turnover increased by 17.5% compared to the same quarter of the previous year

Calendar adjusted retail turnover 2017 IV. increased by 17.5% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail turnover in current prices increased by 5.7% quarter-on-quarter.
