Retail sales volume increased by 3.6% compared to the previous month
Seasonally and calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 3.6% in February 2016 compared to the previous month. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 0.3%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 5.2% and automotive fuel sales increased by 4.3%.
When the change in non-food sectors compared to the previous month is examined; sales of computers, books and communication devices increased by 9.6%, electrical goods and furniture sales increased by 7.5%, textile, clothing and footwear sales increased by 1.5%, medical products and cosmetics sales decreased by 0.6%, mail or internet sales decreased by 5.2%.

Calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 7.9% in February 2016 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 6.1%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 8.3% and automotive fuel sales increased by 9.5%.
When the change in non-food sectors compared to the same month of the previous year is examined; Computer, book and communication equipment sales increased by 4.0%, electrical goods and furniture sales increased by 14.8%, textile, clothing and footwear sales increased by 10.4%, medical products and cosmetics sales increased by 7.1%, mail or internet sales decreased by 27.8%.

Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail turnover at current prices increased by 4.0% in February 2016 compared to the previous month. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 0.7%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 6.6% and automotive fuel sales increased by 3.3%.
Retail turnover increased by 15.2% compared to the same month of the previous year
Retail turnover at current prices adjusted for calendar effects increased by 15.2% in February 2016 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 16.1%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 19.5% and automotive fuel sales by 4.3%.
