Retail sales volume down 0.4% compared to the previous month
Seasonally and calendar adjusted retail sales volume decreased by 0.4% in September 2016 compared to the previous month. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales decreased by 0.1%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) decreased by 1.8%, while automotive fuel sales increased by 1.9%.
When the change in non-food sectors compared to the previous month is examined; sales of electrical goods and furniture decreased by 10.2%, sales of computers, books and communication devices were 2.6%, textile, clothing and footwear sales were 0.4%, medical products and cosmetics sales were 3.7%, sales via mail or internet 4.7.

Retail sales volume increased by 1.0% compared to the same month of the previous year
Calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 1.0% in September 2016 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 1.1%, automotive fuel sales increased by 5.0%, while food, beverage and tobacco sales decreased by 3.2%.
When the change in non-food sectors compared to the same month of the previous year is examined; computer, book and communication equipment sales increased by 0.8%, textile, clothing and footwear sales increased by 2.1%, medical products and cosmetics sales increased by 14.7%, electrical and furniture sales increased by 2.0%, mail or internet sales 3.2 decreased.

Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail turnover at current prices increased by 0.2% in September 2016 compared to the previous month. In the same month, automotive fuel sales increased by 6.0%, food, beverage and tobacco sales decreased by 0.3%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) decreased by 2.0%.
Retail turnover increased by 7.6% compared to the same month of the previous year
Retail turnover at current prices adjusted for calendar effects increased by 7.6% in September 2016 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 4.5%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 9.1% and automotive fuel sales increased by 8.7%.

Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail turnover at current prices adjusted for 2016 III. quarter of the year compared to the previous quarter increased by 0.2%. Calendar adjusted retail turnover increased by 6.1% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
