Seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 0.8% compared to the previous month

When the sub-sectors of industry (2010 = 100 base years) are analyzed, in December 2015, the index of mining and quarrying sector is 3.1%, the index of manufacturing industry is 0.5% and the production, distribution and distribution of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning are compared to the previous month. index increased by 2.4%.

The highest increase in seasonally and calendar adjusted main industrial groups in durable consumer goods

According to Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs) classification, the highest increase in December 2015 compared to the previous month was recorded in durable consumer goods production with 4.8%.

The highest increase in seasonally and calendar adjusted manufacturing industry was realized in the manufacture of computers, electronics and optical products.

Analyzing the sub-sectors of manufacturing industry, the highest increase was 27,9% in the manufacture of computers, electronics and optical products in December 2015 compared to the previous month. This increase was followed by furniture production by 9.3% and coke and refined petroleum products by 7.8%.

The highest decrease in seasonally and calendar adjusted manufacturing industry in other transportation vehicles

Analyzing the sub-sectors of manufacturing industry, the highest decrease was 28,7% in December 2015 when compared to the previous month. This decline was followed by the manufacture of leather and related products and the installation and repair of machinery and equipment with 5.4%.

In the fourth quarter of 2015, seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 0.9% compared to the previous quarter. Calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 4.2% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
