The highest decrease in seasonally and calendar adjusted main industrial groups in durable consumer goods

According to Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs) classification, the highest decrease in September 2016 compared to the previous month was recorded in durable consumer goods production with 14.2%.

The highest decrease in seasonally and calendar adjusted manufacturing industry was realized in furniture manufacturing.

In the sub-sectors of manufacturing industry, the highest decrease was 20.4% in furniture manufacturing in September 2016 compared to the previous month. This decrease was followed by the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical materials with 16.9% and the installation and repair of machinery and equipment with 13.7%.

Seasonally and calendar adjusted manufacturing industry recorded the highest increase in coke and refined petroleum products

Analyzing the sub-sectors of manufacturing industry, the highest increase was recorded in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products in September 2016 compared to the previous month with 8.5%. This increase was followed by the manufacture of machinery and equipment nec 3,9% and the production of beverages 2,1%.
