676 thousand 704 tons of cow milk was collected by commercial dairies in November
The amount of cow's milk collected increased by 6.7% in November compared to the same month of the previous year.
In November, drinking milk production by commercial dairies was 113,276 tons, an increase of 0.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. Cow cheese production rose by 49% to 539 tons, up 4.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. Sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk cheese varieties increased by 304 tons, 2.4% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Yoghurt production increased by 2% compared to the same month of the previous year with 86 thousand 292 tons. Buttermilk production increased by 10,4% when compared to the same month of the previous year with 51,782 tons.
The average milk content of cow milk collected by commercial dairies in November was 3.5% and the protein content was 3.3%.

Seasonally and calendar adjusted amount of collected cow's milk increased by 0.7% in November compared to the previous month. The amount of calendered milk collected increased by 6.7% in November compared to the same month of the previous year.
