International producer price index down 0.93 percent month-on-month
The foreign producer price index (HDI-PPI), which measures the change in producer prices of goods exported within the country and exported abroad, decreased by 0.93% in February 2017 compared to the previous month and was 6.26%, compared to December of the previous year. 24.24% compared with the same month of the previous year and 8.86% compared to the twelve-month averages.
Changes of the two sectors of the industry compared to the previous month; mining and quarrying sector decreased by 1.20% and manufacturing industry by 0.92%.

The highest monthly decrease was in computers and electronic and optical products
The highest decrease compared to the previous month; Computers and electronics and optical products with 3.52%, beverages with 2.51% and other non-metallic mineral products with 2.01%. On the other hand, leather and related products increased by 1.85%, paper and paper products by 0.22%, electrical equipment by 0.20%, the highest increase in indices compared to the previous month.
The highest monthly decrease in the main industrial groups was in durable consumer goods
According to the classification of main industrial groups, the highest monthly decrease was 1,90% in February 2017 in durable consumer goods.
