November 24 Teachers' Day message from Mayor Baştürkmen.

We owe a great deal to our teachers who make this sacred profession that enables us to reach universal values with truth, honesty and knowledge that illuminate our thoughts by telling us with love, innovation, development and science.



Teaching also refers to a life dedicated to this country and to new generations. The representatives of this sacred profession are the epitome of self-sacrifice whose value cannot be measured by anything.



I would like to state that the sacrifices of our esteemed teachers who gave the greatest support to reach the level of contemporary civilization on 24 November, when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was given the title of ‘Head Teacher’, were above all appreciation.



I would like to congratulate the teachers on the 24th of November, and present my love and respect to our teachers who have made an effort to perform this happy profession.
