In mortgaged sales, İstanbul took the first place with 3 462 house sales and 15.2% share. Among the total house sales, Artvin had the highest share of mortgaged sales with 50%.

Other housing sales in Turkey increased by 5.3% compared to the previous year same the month was 82 284. In other house sales, İstanbul ranked first with 15 678 house sales and 19.1% share. The share of other sales in total housing sales in Istanbul was 81.9%. Ankara ranked second with 7 620 other housing sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with 5 035 housing sales. The province with the least other house sales was Hakkari with 4 houses.

Turkey compared to the same month of the previous year, the number of homes sold decreased 12.9% for the first time in general was 44 163. The share of initial sales in total house sales was 42%. Istanbul had the highest share in the first sales with 8 453 house sales and 19.1%, followed by Ankara with 3 553 house sales and İzmir with 2 884 house sales.

Housing sales to foreigners increased by 71.3% to 3 129 compared to the same month of the previous year. In March 2019, Istanbul ranked first in the sales of housing to foreigners with 1 520 housing sales. Istanbul was followed by Antalya with 626 sales, Ankara with 173 sales, Bursa with 121 sales and Yalova with 110 sales.

Iraqi citizens in March bought 548 from Turkey. Iraq was followed by Iran with 334 houses, Saudi Arabia with 189 houses, Russian Federation with 156 houses and Afghanistan with 150 houses.
