Agriculture- PPI increases by 1.75% in March

In March 2019, the producer price index of agricultural products (PPI) was 1.75% compared to the previous month, 13.20% compared to December of the previous year, 27.33% compared to the same month of the increased by 16.04%.

Change from previous month; agricultural and hunting products increased by 1.88%, forestry products increased by 5.19% and fishing decreased by 4.71%.

The maximum monthly increase was in the perennial crop group

Change in the main groups compared to the previous month; 6,62% increase in perennial herbal products, 1,62% increase in one-year herbal products and 0,63% decrease in live animals and animal products.

Vegetables from sub-agricultural groups increased by 3.31% compared to the previous month

Sub-agricultural groups; citrus fruits 7,96%, paddy 3,46%, sheep and goats, live; their raw milk and fleece increased by 0.62%, fatty fruits decreased by 0.33%, live poultry and eggs decreased by 3.28%, fiber plants decreased by 5.01%.

81 items included in the index in March 2019; Prices of 48 items increased, prices of 27 items decreased, prices of 6 items remained unchanged.
