Domestic producer price index down 0.20 percent month on month
Domestic producer price index (D-PPI) decreased by 0.20% in October 2015 compared to the previous month, increased by 7.59% compared to December of the previous year, and increased by 5.74% compared to the same month of the compared to the two-month averages.
The changes in the four sectors of the industry compared to the previous month; mining and quarrying sector, 1.23% increase, 0.37% decrease in manufacturing industry sector, 0.83% increase in electricity and gas sector, and 0.70% increase in water sector.
Highest monthly decline in coke and refined petroleum products
The sub-sectors where the indices showed the highest decrease compared to the previous month were; coke and refined petroleum products (-3.45%), basic metals (-3.29%), chemicals and chemical products (-1.19%). In contrast, crude oil and natural gas (6.23%), furniture (3.49%) and paper and paper products (2.98%) were the sub-sectors where indices increased the most compared to the previous month.
The highest monthly decrease in main industrial groups was in intermediate goods
According to the classification of main industrial groups, the highest monthly decline in October 2015 was in intermediate goods and annual decrease in energy goods.
