The number of slaughtered chicken increased by 7.5% in October compared to the previous month and by 9.6% compared to the same month of the previous year. The number of turkeys slaughtered in October decreased by 1.3% compared to the previous month and decreased by 8.1% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Chicken meat production was 148 505 tons and turkey meat production was 3 686 tons.
Chicken meat production increased by 9.7% in October when compared to the previous month and 11% compared to the same month of the previous year. Turkey meat production decreased by 7,8% in October while it decreased by 7,6% compared to the same month of the previous year.
