Turkey Statistical Institute and the consumer confidence index calculated from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey consumer tendency survey results carried out with cooperation, increased by 22.9% compared to the previous month in November; The index, which was 62.78 in October, became 77.15 in November.
Expectations of households increased by 10.5%
The financial situation expectation index of the household increased by 10.5% compared to the previous month. The index value which was 86.58 in October was 95.66 in November. This increase stemmed from the increase in the ratio of those who expect that the financial situation of the household will be better in the next 12 months.
Expectation of general economic situation increased by 30.9%
The general economic situation expectation index, which was 80.87 in October, increased by 30.9% and became 105.90 in November. This increase indicates that the number of consumers expecting that the general economic situation will be better in the next 12 months period has increased compared to the previous month.
Number of unemployed expectation increased by 31%
The number of unemployed expectation index increased by 31% compared to the previous month and rose to 84.66 in November. This increase stemmed from the increase in the number of people expecting a decrease in the number of unemployed persons in the next 12 months.
Probability of saving increased by 17.3%
The probability of saving index increased by 17.3%. The index, which was 19.07 in October, rose to 22.37 in November. This increase shows that consumers are more likely to save in the next 12 months compared to the previous month.
