SMEs realized 17.4% of R & D expenditures in 2014

A total of 115,444 people in Full Time Equivalent (FTE) worked as R & D personnel. 26.5% of the total R & D personnel in FTE were employed in SMEs.

The share of SMEs with internet access was 92.2% in 2015

92.5% of enterprises with 10 or more employees have internet access, according to the information technology usage survey in enterprises (1), and this rate was 92.2% in SMEs.

While the rate of computer use, web page ownership was 65.5%, broadband access to the Internet was 92.4%, the most commonly used internet connection was DSL with 88.1%. In SMEs, computer usage rate was 95%, web page ownership rate was 64.6%, broadband access rate was 92.2%, DSL was the most commonly used internet connection type 88%.

81% of SMEs used internet in public communication in 2014

Innovative SMEs accounted for 50.8%
