Industrial production up 8.7 percent compared to the same month of the previous year

When the sub-sectors of the calendar adjusted industry (2010 = 100 base years) are analyzed; In December 2017, the index for mining and quarrying increased by 14%, the index for manufacturing industry by 8.9% and the index for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution by 5.7% compared to the same month of the previous year.

When the sub-sectors of the seasonally and calendar adjusted industry (2010 = 100 base years) are analyzed, in December 2017, the index of mining and quarrying increased by 2.6% and the index of manufacturing industry increased by 1.2% compared to the previous month. and air conditioning production and distribution sector index decreased by 1.1%.





Industrial production up 7.8 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year

In the fourth quarter of 2017, calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 7.8% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Compared to the previous quarter, seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 1.7%.
